Set up receipt printers for in-store orders

The Instore Setup Printer tab configures the receipt printers used when processing in-store register transactions. Two printers are configured independently on this tab: the packing slip printer and the payment receipt printer. Each is per station, a printer assigned here belongs to this station only.

Each section shows all available printers detected on the network. Currently supported models include T2s and TSP100IIILAN. When a printer is selected, its tile shows a green checkmark.

Selecting a printer

Tap the printer tile to select it. A confirmation modal appears:

πŸ“ "Selecting printers from this device would remove printers from already selected device."

Field

Description

Number of Prints

How many copies to print per transaction.

No

Cancel, do not assign this printer.

Yes

Confirm, assign this printer to this station.

⚠️ One station at a time. Selecting a printer here removes it from any other station it was previously assigned to. Each printer can only serve one station.

Printer actions

Button

Description

Print Test

Sends a test print to verify the printer is working.

Save

Saves the printer selection for this station.

Reset Printer

Clears the printer assignment for that printer type.

βœ… Best practice. Always run Print Test before hitting Save. It confirms the tile you tapped is the printer actually sitting on your counter, on a two-station store with similar model names, that check saves a lot of head-scratching later.

See Set up your POS hardware for the full Hardware section overview, and Set up receipt printers for online orders for the sibling tab that configures printers for online pickup and delivery.
