In certain situations where the Pin Pad is having trouble connecting to the POS system, follow these steps to manually register the Pin Pad.
1. Ensure the TSYS Sierra or TransIT payment application is open.
2. Tap each corner of the screen in a clockwise pattern, as shown in the picture, repeatedly until you are prompted to enter a password.
3. Enter the passwords below in the following order.
If the first password does not work, it likely means the date on your Pin Pad is incorrect.
- Todayโs Date
- Yesterdayโs Date
- Tomorrowโs Date
The date must be entered in the following format:
โ DDMMYYYY (2-digit day, 2-digit month, 4-digit year) โ no spaces, no dashes.
4. Select System Settings
5. Select POS Register
You will see "Local IP Register Success!" if successful
6. Exit The Secret Menu
Press the Red "X" (Cancel) Button on the Pin Pad's physical keypad one time until you reach the normal TSYS Sierra or TransIT payment application
6. Try reconnecting your POS to the Pin Pad
