Connecting the Pin Pad via Ethernet provides a more stable and reliable connection.
In certain circumstances or emergencies, Wi-Fi can be used as a backup.
πIf the POS is also running on Wi-Fi, make sure it is connected to the same network as the Pin Pad.
1. Exit The Payment Application
Press the Red "X" (Cancel) Button on the Pin-Pad's physical keypad
Then select "OK"
2. Access Settings
3. Select Network & Internet
4. Select Ethernet
5. Turn off Ethernet
6. Select the back arrow
7. Select Wi-Fi
8. Select your Business Wi-Fi & Enter Password
9. Exit the settings
Repeatedly pressing the Red "X" (Cancel) key on the keypad until you return to the Android home screen.
Then, reopen the TSYS Sierra or TransIT Payment application.
πIf the POS is also running on Wi-Fi, make sure it is connected to the same network as the Pin Pad.
