🔥 Hot Product Shortcuts

Hot Product Shortcuts let stores quickly ring up commonly sold items. By creating a dedicated Hot Products or Best Sellers category, stores can make high-frequency items easily accessible at checkout. Thanks to multi-category support, a product can belong to both its regular category and the Hot Products category.

✅ Step 1: Create the Hot Products Category

1. From the Quickvee Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit passcode.

   Ensure the passcode has the necessary permissions to create categories and edit products.

2. On the Quickvee Home Screen, tap Inventory.

3. Tap Category

4. On the Categories screen, tap the ➕ icon in the bottom right.

5. Fill out the Add Category screen:

   • Title: Enter  Hot Products or Best Sellers (Any name name be used).
   • Description: (Optional)
   • Enable or disable settings like:
     • Use Points
     • Earn Points
     • Works with Lottery

6. Tap Add to create the category.

✅ Step 2: Add Products to the Hot Products Category

1. From the Inventory screen you are currently on, tap Products at the top.

2. Search for the product you want to add (use the search bar or scan by UPC).

3. Tap the product to open its details.

4. Scroll to the Category field and tap the dropdown.

5. Search for and select the Hot Products category.

6. Tap Save in the bottom right.

You’ll see a confirmation message: “Product Updated Successfully”

✅ Step 3: Use the Hot Products Shortcut at Checkout

1. Tap the Home button in the top right to return to the main screen.

2. Tap Register.

3. Under Categories, tap the Hot Products category.

4. Tap a product to add it to the cart.

🎉 You’ve successfully created a Hot Products category and assigned products for quick access during checkout!
