Adding a custom item is a fast and convenient way to ring up a product that may not already exist in the system. Custom item transactions will be recorded as "Custom Item" in reporting and will not be assigned to a specific category.

Enter your 4-digit PIN to unlock the system.

Tap Register.

Enter the amount for the custom item using the number pad.

Tap Custom Item.

Select the applicable tax option (taxable or non-taxable).

Tap Done.

The custom item will now be added to the cart with the set amount.
