If a product is not entered into the system, you can ring it up under a category instead of a specific product. This ensures that sales reporting remains accurate, even for unlisted items.
Steps to Ring Up a Product as a Category:

Navigate to the Register
On the Quickvee home screen, tap Register to open the sales interface. -
Enter the Amount
Use the number pad to enter the price of the product. -
Select a Category
From the list of available categories, tap the one that best fits the product you are ringing up. -
Select Tax Option
A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the applicable tax for the product. Tap Done to proceed. -
Add to Cart
The item will now be added to the cart with:- The entered price.
- The selected category displayed as the product name.
By following these steps, you can efficiently ring up items that are not specifically listed in your inventory while maintaining accurate category-level reporting.
