💳 Paying with a Gift Card

Quickvee allows store owners to create and load balances onto blank gift cards directly from the POS. Once loaded, customers can scan the gift card at checkout to apply the available balance toward their purchase.

⚠️ Note: Gift cards must be enabled first. If not already set up, follow our How to Enable Gift Cards guide.

🛒 How to Pay Using a Gift Card

1. From the Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit PIN access code.
2. On the Quickvee Home Screen, tap Register.
3. Add items to the cart as usual.
4. Tap Pay to proceed to checkout.
5. On the Payment Screen, tap Gift Card.
6. In the prompt that appears, either:
   • Scan the gift card barcode, or
   • Manually enter the gift card code.
7. Tap Redeem Card.
8. The total available balance on the gift card will now be displayed.

🔢 Applying Gift Card Balance

• To use a partial amount, enter the desired amount manually.
• To use the maximum available amount, simply tap Confirm Redemption and the system will auto-calculate.

✅ Finalizing the Payment

• If the gift card covers the full total, the transaction will complete after confirming redemption.
• If the gift card does not cover the full amount, you will be need to select a second payment method to complete the sale and clear the remaining balance.
