Holding a transaction in Quickvee allows you to temporarily pause a customer's transaction so that you can assist other customers before completing the transaction. Here's how to hold and retrieve a transaction:
To Hold a Transaction:

Access the Register:
- On the Quickvee home screen, tap Register.
- On the Quickvee home screen, tap Register.

Add Items to the Cart:
- Add the items to the cart that the customer wants to purchase.

Hold the Basket:
- Under the Checkout Details, tap Hold

Name the Basket:
- A prompt screen will appear asking you to name the basket and optionally enter the customer's mobile phone number for easier retrieval.

Confirm Hold:
- Once you've entered the details, tap Hold to store the transaction.
To Retrieve a Held Transaction:

Ensure Cart is Empty:
- Ensure that there are no items currently in the cart.

Access Held Baskets:
- Tap the Hold button. It will now show the number of held baskets.

Select Held Basket:
- Tap Held to view the list of held baskets.

Restore the Basket:
- Select the basket you wish to restore and tap Restore to bring the transaction back into the register.
- Select the basket you wish to restore and tap Restore to bring the transaction back into the register.
Done! You’ve successfully held and retrieved a transaction.
