🛒 Add a Product Category and Insert Products

Creating product categories allows you to organize items in your inventory and display them accordingly in your online store or POS.

🛠️ How to Add a Product Category

1. From the Quickvee Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit PIN access code.

2. On the Quickvee Home Screen, tap Inventory.

3. Tap Category.

4. Tap the + icon to create a new category.

5. Enter the Category Title.

6. Enter a Category Description (optional). This will appear on your online store for customers browsing the category.

7. Choose whether to enable/disable category-specific options:

   • Use Points – Allow customers to use their loyalty points for products in this category.

   • Earn Points – Allow customers to earn loyalty points for products purchased in this category.

   • Enable Lottery – Add products to the Lottery category. These products will not appear in regular categories or the online store.

8. Tap Add when finished.

   By default, the category will appear on both the register and the online store.

9. To edit visibility (on register and online store), tap the category after it has been created and enable/disable the options accordingly.

Note: The category will not be visible if there are no products added to it.

🛠️ How to Add Products to the Category

1. From the Inventory screen, tap Products.

2. Find the product you want to add to the category (you can search by scan or use the search function).

3. Tap the product.

4. Tap the Category Menu.

5. Choose the category (or multiple categories) you want to apply to the product. You can use the search function to find the right category.

6. Tap Save.

The product will now appear in the selected category(ies) on the register/online store.
