🛍️ Add a New Product in Quickvee

Quickvee allows you to easily add new products directly through the POS system or online. Once added, the product will be available on both the register and your online store.

✅ How to Add a New Product

From the Quickvee Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit PIN access code.
On the Home Screen, tap Inventory.
Tap Products.
Tap the + icon to begin adding a new product.

📝 Basic Product Information

Enter the Product Name (e.g., Collared Shirt instead of Red Collared Shirt). Variants like color or size will be added later.
Select a Brand to track performance across your inventory.
(Optional) Add a Product Description that appears on your online store.
Choose one or more Categories to organize the product.
Add or select Tags to improve search and enable tag-based reporting.

🎨 Variants

Toggle Enable Variants if your product has different options like size or color.
Select a Variant Attribute (e.g., Size, Color).
Enter variant options (e.g., Small, Medium, Large) and press enter after each one.
To add a second variant type, tap + Add New Variant and repeat the steps.

Quickvee will automatically generate all combinations of product variants with separate SKUs.

💰 Pricing & Inventory

Enter the Cost per Item (what the store pays).
Enter the Price (what the customer pays).
(Optional) Add a Compare at Price to show a discount on your online store.
Margin/Profit will calculate automatically.
Enter Quantity (Qty) on hand.
Add a UPC Code by entering, scanning, or tapping Generate UPC.
(Optional) Add a Custom Code for internal reference.
(Optional) Set Reorder Qty (default reorder amount).
(Optional) Set a Reorder Level (inventory threshold that triggers a PO).
Tap Print Label if a label printer is connected.

⚙️ Inventory & Selling Options

Enable Track Quantity to manage real-time inventory.
Enable Continue Selling When Out of Stock if desired.
Enable Check ID to prompt for age verification.
Enable Food Stamp Eligible if the item qualifies.
Toggle Disable if you want to hide a variant from the register or online store.
